We have some babies at the pond where I hang out!!!

We finally have some new arrivals at the pond!! The mama has been sitting on the eggs for at LEAST 5 weeks... I was told that the usual gestation was 28 days so I was ready to give up hope...

New improvements to my favorite place

My favorite place (A pond on the edge of my hometown)

We have a pond on the south edge of my hometown that has given me HOURS of enjoyment... the last several years I have had to find things to do to keep myself from going any more insane than I already was... this place has gotten me to learn birdwatching and to just WATCH...

I found these guys in a big heap on one of the streets of my hometown... It's that time of year and they came up onto the pavement because the sun had warmed it up... I moved the group to the grass so they wouldn't get run over...
